The Brashear Lady Tigers hosted the Canton Lady Tigers Thursday for a Varsity/JV softball double-header. In the varsity game, Canton jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st, but Brashear managed to hold Canton to only 5 runs through the first 4 innings. Canton would go on to score 9 runs before Brashear got on the scoreboard with a single run in the bottom of the 7th for a final score of 9-1. Averi Acton had a triple for Brashear with Tanna Garlock, and Atalie Hagan also having hits. Acton got the start with Hagan pitching in relief.

The JV game also went Canton's way by a score of 4-1.
